EDUCATION SUPPORT STUDENTS VISIT KOORIE HERITAGE TRUST
Our CHC40221 Certificate IV in School Based students recently visited the Koorie Heritage Trust. First Nations cultural awareness is a core skill for Teacher Aides and is built into the program. When starting work graduates will be able to apply these skills to better support First Nations children in schools and help embed First Nations cultural awareness into the learning programs of all children.
The Education Support class found the visit a very valuable and engaging learning experience. They recommend everyone visit. The Koorie Heritage Trust is at Federation Square and is easily accessible for everyone. To find out more see their website at: https://koorieheritagetrust.com.au/
