MEGT FELLOWSHIP SCHOLARSHIPS
The MEGT Foundation, in collaboration with Victoria University, DJSIR, and Learn Local, was established in 2021 to help women facing disadvantages achieve their career goals through education. Each year, ten scholarships worth up to $15,000 are offered, allowing recipients to pursue vocational training or start a graduate program. Successful applicants receive one-on-one coaching and join a supportive Community of Practice. In July 2022, a pilot scholarship program was launched, enabling scholars to begin studying in early 2023. Beck (pictured) is our Reconnect Coach and received one of these scholarships in 2022 . She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Social Work at Deakin University.
