We were very proud to be selected as finalist for the 2022 Learn Local Innovation Award.in recognition of our Digital Skills Initiative.

We introduced this initiative in mid 2021 to support EAL students to develop the digital literacy skills needed for active learning , community engagement and economic participation. The initiative focussed on building learner and teacher skills and confidence in IT applications. Thanks to LCEC students and staff for all their invaluable support for this program.

The program will evolve further into exciting new directions in 2023 under the leadership of Project Officer, Carlina Ridgeway. The awards ceremony was held on February 24 2023 at Zinc in Federation Square.
