Get Ready for School is  a series of workshops for parents of kinder age children with additional needs to prepare for the transition to primary school.

Get Ready for School is a family learning partnership between LCEC, Assist Ability Australia and Laverton Community Children’s Centre and funded by the Vic Adult Community & Further Education Board. We delivered it for the first time last year and it was very successful. The facilitator is Dr Jane Hickey, an expert on inclusive education, from the Edmund Rice Institute.
