Government funding

LCEC welcomes the recent Victorian Government decision to make funding for Vocational Education and Training courses available to all people on humanitarian, protection and refugee visas.

You can now get a government funded place in our Early Childhood Education & Care, School Based Education Support or Individual Support courses if you:

  • hold any humanitarian, protection, or refugee visa in Australia, or
  • have applied for a humanitarian, protection or refugee visa and hold a bridging visa for this purpose.
  • have made an application under s.417 or s.48b of the Migration Act 1958 (Cth) which is yet to be determined and hold a bridging visa.
Enrol now and prepare for your first qualified employment position in the Australian labour market.
