This week we were very pleased to welcome Cesar Melhem, MLC for Melbourne West and Parliamentary Secretary for Training and Skills, and Sarah Connolly, MLA for Tarneit and candidate for the new electorate of Laverton, to LCEC.

Students and staff enjoyed the visit tremendously. Cesar and Sarah talked with groups of Stepping Forward students and EAL students. They learned about the range of different programs we deliver and the large number of community members who access our education and training programs. We also used the opportunity to discuss in detail some of the challenges faced by our sector as we recover from the pandemic.
