LCEC HOSTS LEARN TO DRIVE PROGRAM FOR NEW ARRIVALS

Learning to drive is a life-long skill – it’s the key to independence and improved job opportunities!
South Kingsville Community Centre is delivering the New Arrivals Road Safety Driving Program for newly arrived people, CALD & migrant communities at Laverton Community Education Centre. The program is supported by a VicRoads Community Road Safety Grant. The course will teach about traffic signs, road rules, how to drive safely and how to share the road as a driver, pedestrian, or cyclist etc. Plus get 2 FREE driving lessons to kickstart your driving journey!
Learners will receive professional driving lessons in a safe, maintained, and insured vehicle provided by SKCC.
Duration: 5 weeks theory & then 2 driving lessons
Day and Time: Tuesdays: 5.00pm-7.00pm
Dates: !2 November 2024-10 December 2024
Cost: Free
Location: Laverton Community Education Centre, 12 Crown St Laverton
Eligibility: Aged over 21 years, learners permit holders, and living in Australia for 5 years or less
