This accredited course is designed for people with an intellectual disability or a permanent cognitive impairment.

This program assists learners prepare for employment providing them with the basic employability skills and knowledge required to obtain and maintain employment or to undertake further study.

This course will assist learners with:

  • Basic work skills gained through a work placement (100+ hours) and vocational tasters.
  • Gaining independence – learning life skills and getting career advice
  • Engaging, small classes in a supportive environment that are a lot of fun, plus make new friends!

Applicants will be required to take a pre-training review, including literacy and numeracy assessment, to assess their suitability for the course.
