The Certificate I in Work is a post-secondary program for young adults with an intellectual disability

This course will assist learners with:

• Basic work skills gained through a work placement (100+ hours
• Literacy and numeracy skills
• Gaining independence – learning life skills and getting career advice
• Engaging, small classes in a supportive environment that are a lot of fun, plus make new friends!

Learners will study the following units

Applicants will be required to take a pre-training review, including literacy and numeracy assessment, to assess their suitability for the course.

This program is delivered every second year, alternating with 22705VIC Certificate I in Transition Education. In 2026 we will be delivering 22705VIC Certificate I in Transition Education. in 2027 we will delivering 22706VIC Certificate I in Work Education.
